Silver accessories add a more distinguished touch when entertaining. That is, unless they are covered in unsightly tarnish.
- Cover the bottom of the pan with aluminium foil.
- Arrange the silver pieces on the foil so they're all touching the foil.
- Heat some water, enough to cover the silver pieces. Add a small amount of salt.
- Add a cup of baking soda to the hot salt water solution.
- Pour the solution over the silver pieces.
- Soak the silver in the solution for 30 minutes.
- Remove the silver pieces and buff them dry with a soft cloth.
